The Professional School Nurse is guided by National Standards in preforming the following services:

• Screenings for vision, hearing and growth (includes scoliosis in the Jr. High setting)
• Follow-up with families about screenings that students fail
• Research
• Chronic Disease Management
• Case Management
• Disease Prevention
• Health Education 
• Support for Students and their Families
• Promotion of the Environmental Health of the School Building and Grounds
• Facilitates Telehealth Visits in the Health Office
